Sleeping with the Earl
Legendary Lords of the Ton

A matrimonial trap. A convenient deception. A woman I have no intention of giving up.
She barged into King’s to warn me about another’s scheme to trap me in marriage and ended up giving me the perfect solution to my problems.
Miss Claire Sullivan is clever, discreet, and above all, has no interest in marrying me. When I suggest we pretend to court, she readily agrees. The arrangement gives her the freedom she desperately wants. For me, it means an end to the endless parade of eligible young ladies setting their caps for a Legend.
Our agreement is supposed to be a matter of convenience. But pretending Claire is mine gives me an excuse to keep her close. To steal kisses and to hold her in my arms. And when our innocent charade turns into something far more tempting, neither of us is inclined to stop.
When Claire stumbles into something she never should have seen, our deception becomes very real.
I never wanted a wife, and I certainly never wanted to fall in love.
Yet somehow, the woman I took for a temporary diversion has become the one thing I cannot imagine living without.
Perfect for readers who love fake courtships, confirmed bachelors, scandalous affairs, clever heroines, protective rogues, and Legendary Lords who fall hard, SLEEPING WITH THE EARL is the fourth book in Suzanna Medeiros’s Legendary Lords of the Ton series.

Excerpt
The last person I expected to see stood there. Mr. Grey.
He hadn’t struck me as the type of man to frequent gaming clubs. But now that I considered the matter, I didn’t know what type of club King’s was. Yes, it was the hub for the Legendary Lords of the Ton, but for all I knew it might be similar to White’s.
From the look on his face, it was clear he was equally surprised to see me. I rose to my feet. “Mr. Grey, I didn’t realize you were employed here.”
His brows drew together. “What are you doing here?”
There was something in his expression that struck me as oddly harsh. “I have a matter of great importance to speak about with Lord Grey…” My voice trailed to a halt as I put together the similarity between the two names. Mr. Grey and Lord Greyson. Was it possible they were the same person?
He stood in the open doorway, arms folded across his chest as he waited for me to continue. I bit my bottom lip, feeling unbearably silly asking the question. “Are you —” I shook my head. “Please forgive me, but I must ask. Surely you’re not Lord Greyson?”
His brows rose alarmingly. “You expect me to believe you came here and didn’t already know that?”
